Arizona panel OKs transgender bathroom bill that lets businesses bar transgendered customers from using the bathroom of their choice

The original bill would have made it a crime for a transgendered person to use a bathroom other than his or her birth sex. An Arizona House panel modified the bill after a national outcry from transgender advocacy groups
